I've decided not to do a Friday Five this week but instead will do this week's This or That.

1. Poetry or prose? Prose, please. Still not into the whole poetry thing.
2. Funky modern art or the older, "classic" variety? Classic. I prefer the National Gallery to the Tate Modern. But Matisse's Snail's not bad.
3. Sculptures or paintings? Paintings.
4. Theatre: exuberant musical or serious drama? Oh, that's a tough one. Both.
5. Ballet or modern dance? Ballet. However, I've only been to one and the stomping on the stage totally put me off. It just didn't match their elegance.
6. Movies: major studio or indie? Both.
7. Authors: Shakespeare or Dr. Seuss? That's really tough. Both.
8. TV: PBS or A&E? A&E. Love those Jane Austen specials. :) Mind you, they all originated either on ITV1 or BBC1/2. Love love love Hercule Poirot and sigh....... Horatio Hornblower. Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........ Ioan Gruffudd.
9. Music: Beethoven or Beatles? Both.
10. Thought-provoking question of the week: You are a contributing member of your favorite art museum, and visit on a regular basis. They announce a new, temporary special exhibit by an artist surrounded by controversy...this person's work and/or political views offend you. Do you stop supporting the museum, or just stay away during the time the exhibit is there? I only wish I could afford to be a contributing member of my favourite art museum. I'd just stay away during the time. The situation sounds like having Prof Gunther von Hagens exhibit at the National Gallery or the V&A!!! Haha!
