Just came from the Royal College of Art's Big Secret postcard exhibition. For those of you who aren't familiar with this, postcards are designed by students and celebrity artists (this year sees Manolo Blahnik, Paul and Stella McCartney and Sam Taylor-Wood to name a few). From now until the 28th, the exhibition is open to all. From the 29th November to the 1st December, first come first serve, members of the public can purchase the postcards for only £35 each. However, you only find out the identity of the artist, signatures are located on the back of the postcards, after you've paid (and there's a maximum of 5 per person). Most people, like me, go to just take a look but there were some very serious people who were writing down all their guesses and which postcards they'd like to buy. There is a chance that you can buy some serious artwork for very little. Go to Bowie Art to view the postcards online.
